You can celebrate the vibrant, zesty flavors of Brazil at this colorful and cheery little spot. Duck under the blazing yellow awning and into the cozy cobalt and terra-cotta environs enlivened with Gauguin-esque murals. Feijoada completa,…

Pulsing Afro-Caribbean beats, vibrant blue accents, lush tropical plants, conducive to samba dancing and Rio fantasies. Large portions, fair prices, strong drinks and so-so service. A few caipirinhas, some plates of feijoada and coxinhas, and you’ll be shaking it like Ronaldinho. Sexy samba dancers each Friday-Saturday evening add to the sex appeal. Hush, it’s our little secret.

Brazilian specialties in a small, bright Civic Center setting.

I am always surprised that Minas Brazil isn't packed every time we visit. A few steps away from Hayes Valley's main drag (Hayes Street), the restaurant is cozy and warm and the staff is friendly. The food is consistently tasty and satisfying, like a home cooked meal. I can't recommend Minas Brazil enough.

Stacy made the menu easier to choose from as everything looked good! Wonderful Brazilian coctail with fresh tasting passionfruit juice. Excellent pork belly and muckeka like I'd eaten on shores of B razil. Easy to find. Convenient to BART.

We love the Madioca Frita (yucca fries) & Lula Brasileiro (fried calamari). Watermelon Caipirinhas are fantastic. My partner and I always order Picanha na Tabua (Tri-tip steak marinated and charbroiled, served with feijão tropeiro, garlic rice, couve and a...
