A “diverse” and “generally good” roster of performers keeps folks lining up at this “nicely set up” TriBeCa music venue; a popular draw is Rubix Kube, a “fab ’80s cover band” that busts out the big-hair classics weekly.
From Marcus Linial, a nicely planned and well-lit multi-level lounge with a bangin' system and the occasional stellar DJ manning the steel wheels. Setting of extravagant music industry parties for rampant starfucking, with celeb sightings a dime a dozen. Draws 'em from every corner of Bon Jovi's home state, in too-tight jeans and one-shoulder shirts, fighting over their place in line, but...
Cool, sleek and totally modern with an amazing sound system and glassed-in VIP section full of insiders. Use your flair at the door or wait forever to get in!

Downtown's club of the moment closely resembles the apartment everyone wishes for. Pristine hardwood floors, Eames chairs and chocolate-brown leather couches combine for a mod...
Went here in early august for the 80s tribute with Rubix Kube and had a BLAST!!!. Great band, nice place and lots of fun. People had dressed up, myself and my party included. 3 hours of great fun for reasonable price. Bit expensive for the drinks, but everything else was great. I would recommend this to everybody. Doesn't matter if...
My friends and I visited to see Rubix Kube, the 80s tribute band. THEY ARE EXCELLENT! Most of the time, if you close your eyes you think the real artists are in front of you. And they do a lot of different bands! The costume changes are great too!
As for the venue, it was OK. The name is true,...
If you want to relieve the heydays of the 80's come to the Canal Roomo when Rubix Cube plays. Me and my friends had a fantastic time dancing and singing to Madonna, Rick Springfield, Bangles - we had such a blast. Kick off your shoes and hang out at this fun place!
First of all, I would like to say that you could not even pay me to go back to this place. The beers are expensive, the manager or owner whoever (Indian guy) is rude and unprofessional. Not to mention the fact that there was nobody there, at least at the time I was there. Overall my experience was negative so I won't return. Oh, on the positive note: at least it's downtown and close to other great venues.
I agree with many of the reviews. The bartenders are unimpressive and $8 for Blue Moon? Please..
Packed to the max, total chick fest (beware ladies..if you're on the prowl). The band Rubix Cube was good, but not ""wow"". Thank goodness I was part of a closed off VIP section, otherwise don't go, you'll be sorry. Hence my vote is ""Skip""
