This is a real millinery Shop. It has everything a true hat maker is looking for. The owners are friendly, and ready to assist with lots of creative ideas for hat design and construction.Pricing is reasonable. There are not many 'real' milliners around, therefore price comparison is irrelevant. Fabric stores, for the most part, don't carry the items necessary to create a hat from the ground up.
This little shop was a fun experience.

Like stepping back in time

Walking into this place, I felt like a young Gabrielle Chanel might as she embarked on her millinery career.

It's been around since 1939 and has a lot of vintage findings and trims for hats, hat forms, veiling, feathers.... I mean it's really almost too much.

It's like a little treasure box and I'm so amazed that a place like this exists, it feels like stepping back in time. They also have info on hat making classes that are around town.

If you are even remotely interested in making hats or fascinators you must check this place out.
