Friendly neighborhood eatery serves up creative egg dishes and sandwiches to a young clientle.

In Short
Exposed concrete and bright yellow walls set a warm vibe at Hillcrest's version of a greasy spoon. Pieces of artwork from local visionaries reflect the spirit of the community. A...

Excellent service and our food was super delicious,. We were in San Diego and found this place by google maps. The waiters were very friendly and patient with the mess that my baby made on the floor. I highly recommend this place.

love their food and servers

Food and atmosphere was great! Would definitely go back if ever in San Diego again.

I have to say that the noise level of this place is quite uncomfortable. This is probably a reason why I did not enjoyed the food that much. I had a salmon crumbs breakfast with two poached eggs on the top. Not bad but very blah! Nothing you could not make at home. On a positive note, coffee was excellent, as well as the attention of the staff. I don’t think I will go back until they add some...

I had one of the most excellent breakfasts I've ever had here. I don't think what I had is on the menu any longer but everyone at my table sampled it as I had to have them try it.. It was a pasta with basil with scrambled eggs. Was it a frittata? I can't recall as it was a while ago but man, I CRAVE it.. Delish.. Bring it back or share what it was, pretty please? Love this place..

Parking

University splits at Park. Veer to the right and you'll see metered spots going up a hill. There are also nonmetered spots in the neighborhood a few blocks up, behind the restaurant.

Know Before You Go

The cafe is on the east side of Park, just below University. Look for The Vault, a goth clothing store, that's just north of it.
