This is one of Chmpaign's sad stories. Cafe Luna was a thriving small restaurant on the edge of the University of Illinois campus. It moved to a location with better parking and more space, including an excellent layout for outdoor dining. At first all went well, with a good menu and courteous service. We made advanced reservations for 5 for Sunday Brunch. On arrival we confirmed with the hostess the reservation was for 5. We waited 15 minutes beyond our reservation time to be taken to our table, which the hostess had set up for 4! We then stood for several more minutes as the hostess cleared another table with room for all....

A real gem in a college town - and a wonderful treat

This wonderful restaurant is located in downtown Champaign, in the renovated old train station. The food was excellent, as were the choices. This is no ordinary restaurant with wantabe chefs. The chef definately has some great training and really knows how to fuse flavors in to great meals.
