Spending time in DC for my birthday week and my actual birthday day enjoying a delicious lunch here was great. The food was delicious, the service was fabulous and the free creme brûlée was over the top. The restaurant was clean, comfortable and relaxing. It...was a perfect spot right by the White House so a lovely stroll after lunch to "work it off"!
This is a restaurant with a very Parisian feel. The setting is nice, and my food was quite good. Service was a bit spotty, though friendly.
Always fabulous! We sat outside on a glorious afternoon - our Waiter was a 5 Star! Food was excellent! And the desserts beautiful!

Disappointing experience. Our server was inattentive. Dishes we have enjoyed many times in the past were disappointing (e.g., French onion soup). Outdoor tables are crammed so close together that it’s hard to have a conversation without being interrupted by your neighbor.
This used to be a favorite.
We loved both the cafe and restaurant. Ate dinner there twice and had coffee/pastries twice during our stay. Quaint, quiet, and delicious made for an oasis feeling during a busy trip.
