It "always feels like a party" at these "casual", "colorful" Nuevo Latinos where "nicely spiced" chow and "rocket-fuel" mojitos make for a "happening" vibe; the "noise factor" and "erratic" service may be sore points, but tabs are "reasonable" and the Seaport outlet sports "gorgeous" water views.
While Cabana is definitely a colorful party scene, the food here is often authentic and creative. Some of chef/owner Glenn Flechter's recipes come from his Puerto Rican mother-in-law. Spicy Jamaican jerk chicken, Bahamian conch fritters and golden brown codfish cakes called baccalaitos are great starters. Authentic Latin American Food in the Forrest Hill area. The crowd is always fun and in my experience, the service has always been prompt, friendly and accommodating. The food is simply delicious and authentic Latin American flavors. I always get the Churrasco; Latin American style skirt steak marinated in garlic and fresh herbs accompanied by chimichurri and cebollitasl.

Lunch time is the right time for this busy eatery with so much to offer.
Waited for my 3rd visit to write this to ensure their consistancy and was never disappointed.
I'm not a Cuban, or a Cuban fare aficionado, but good food is just good food.
Add the great service, and it's a place not to me missed.
ANYTHING on the menu is GREAT!! Place may be a bit small, but we go off hours and take the leftovers home to enjoy later....Portions are generous and prepared to perfection. Service is GREAT, all staff members are very friendly. A+ from soup to nuts.......Desserts are GREAT as well.
