Overlooking downtown San Diego, this Queen Anne style historic inn features antiquities such as the 1885 Steinway Art Case piano. All guests must be at least 21 years old. Guestrooms provide elegant Victorian furnishings, claw-foot bathtubs, heated towel racks, flat-screen TVs and complimentary high-speed Internet. The daily hot breakfast and afternoon cheese and wine reception are...

A block west of Balboa Park, this inn occupies the former mansion of the Scripps newspaper family. A $6 million investment has turned the beautifully maintained 1887 Queen Anne into a stunning example of lavish Victorian decor. The carved oak woodwork shines throughout, and the two-story stained-glass window is magnificent. The nine guest rooms—with antique beds, claw-foot tubs, rain-head...

One of San Diego's most glorious Victorian houses was lovingly restored into what is now known as the Britt Scripps Inn. Built around 1887, the property was occupied for more than 45 years by one of San Diego's most prominent families: the Scripps. The home and surrounding grounds have been converted into a nine-room "estate hotel" -- part B&B, part luxury hotel. Offering first-class amenities...

One of S.D.’s most historic inns tucked away in Banker’s Hill. This nine-room Victorian stunner has been restored to its full glory. Hit up the lobby for house-made scones and a nightly wine-and-cheese hour.

Quaint victorian house with tall ceilings gave me a strong sense for what Old San Diego must have been like.

Location. Location. Location. It's a safe, short, pretty walk to Balboa Park. It's a short Uber ride to Gaslamp, airport, bayfront... The property is a very close second to the location. The property is beautiful and comfortable.\n\nThere's 1 keeper who is simply clueless. Her facial expressions are telling. For some reason, the rooms were only supplied with 1 washcloth for 2 people.

The hotel is a beautiful Victorian building with stained glass and an abundance of wood. hotel employee who met us at check-in was friendly and informative. Even though the hotel was completely full, it was very quiet and peaceful.\n\nThe hallways need better lighting.
