We had heard so much about this restaurant. We loved the wine shack on the property. The wines were decent.
The grounds were nice. I wish the weather was warmer so we could have strolled.
I did not care for the food. But my husband ate his and mine.

We were doing a wine tasting tour of Iowa and this place was recommended be our last winery visit hostess.
She said we have to try this place. We found it very easily and enjoyed the buffet just as she recommended. The ribs were delicious and the meat just fell off of the bones. The fish was light and delicious....

This family owned restaurant has been beautifully rebuilt after two fires! The building, the decor, the layout, the holiday decorations were all top-notch. Before the fire, the restaurant was wall to wall antiques, but the new decor is just as beautiful and rich with family heritage. The homemade style meals are delicious, and we enjoyed the Sunday buffet. Very good...

Breitbach's has the best homestyle buffet in the Midwest. Fried and broasted chicken, fried shrimp, barbeque pork chops, mashed potatoes with gravy, corn, beef vegetable soup, home-style fruit pies are all made fresh with local ingredients. The award-winning pork tenderloin sandwich is good as well. Service is friendly and attentive. This place is one of the best.
