Help us make it rightIn 2007, Bobby (BJ) & Maria Burdette opened a small, cozy eatery in beautiful scenic McConnelsville, Ohio. At that time, their dream was to offer the good folks in Morgan County the same quality eats they would get in the bigger cities, at a price local friends and neighbors could easily afford. Keep it simple, keep it good, keep it affordable.
Not a lot of eateries in this area, so we drove 19 miles to get here. It was a nice atmosphere with an adequate menu and good server. The food however, was disappointing. Terribly disappointing. The pulled pork was rank and the crab cakes, billed as a house "specialty" were greasy and tasted old. Didn't eat most of what we ordered. Inattentive wait staff to boot. Not sure what the attraction is/was. Maybe the chef was on vacation.
