The staff really reach out to make your experience more enjoyable. Appropriate wine suggestions, meal opinions, and unobtrusive service make a pleasant dining experience. The sauces are especially good and it is all you can do to not lick the plate.
Food would be 5 stars except had the worst tiramisu I have encountered in 45 years of dining out, gelatinous rather than light and almost devoid of flavor. Very surprised as desserts are supposed to be a specialty. Took it to go or would have commented to owner, who is a great host.
Our first visit was for Valentines day, and it turned out perfect. The wine, food and service were all great. We were not expecting the live musical duo, which added a special touch to the evening. It is a terrific neighborhood eatery.
Our server was gracious and friendly. We had a reservation which is recommended for dinner, our food was amazing and their wine list is extensive! Tasty appetizers and smaller plate options are a bonus.
