I've been living in my quaint little Castro Valley house I rent from Birchfield for a couple of years now. The ladies that work for Birchfield have ALWAYS been helpful and sweet with me. I guess treating people how you want to be treated goes a long way! Thank you very much for the awesome house! Our family loves it!

Don't be a victim. Check everything when you move in, they will charge you things you didn't do. Don't let them get money from your deposit, they are wise enough doing business. Haha he knows who lied.

I agree with the previous posters about the rental company being some what of a scam. They take a lot of applications it seems but do not rent the property. They insist that you drop off all applications after you fill it out personally and will not let you mail it in. They said that they will let you put it in the …
