What the community has to say about Bing Crosby's - San Diego

Information about this business (1)

Bing Crosby Restaurant & Piano Lounge is a throwback to a bygone era, the restaurant offers diners more than elegant and upscale dining, but also an experience, paying tribute to Der Bingle one of America s greatest crooners. pricey yet elegant

over the top hommage to Bing and his buddies. stargaze the indcredible photos and enjoy the live music from another era. much classier than its upscale mall environs but food veers heavily to the elaborately sauced and gigantic portioned. Dress up for this place and they'll feed you lavishly.

Opulent and reminiscent of the 50's and 60's steakhouse, you expect to see Sinatra stroll in with the Rat Pack. Food is heavy, rich, and expensive. Great for one first date, but I am not tempted to go back again.

J2--Janet Hammer and Jay Berman provide lively music on Wednesday. They had "Ames Sisters" take off group our night which made the evening memory lane. Food was very well prepared and served.

Taking over the space vacated by Crocodile Cafe, Bing Crosby's sashays up the red carpet in full '30s glamor. Chocolate-and-blue silk...
