Great location and the staff were very helpful and cheerful. The room was very good, comfortable and clean. Just a couple of blocks up the street is The Alley, a really good bar and fun staff! Across the street and up a tad is Savoury's restaurant and again great American hospitality! really great food and service! All of the above made two weary travellers very happy!!!

Good distance to Yosemite NP

I stayed here 2nights to visit Yosemite National Park on Saturday and Sunday mid March.The distances for both gates to enjoy Yosemite Valley and Mariposa Grove were very good. Both were just around one hour.But vent fan in bath room was too noisy and additional door lock for keeping private didn't work well sometime. (The main lock was ok)Internet speed on Wifi was not so fast to watch videos.

Yosemite and the gold rush

We stayed in this hotel to be ready to go into Yosemite by bus which we caught down the very interesting street. While staying there we got to go to a museum of the gold rush and beyond very interesting and well done museum and informative docents.
