Fish tacos and secret sauce

Average Rating

We always enjoy the fish taco special, as a takeout. Tacos are fat and flavorful and that creamy cilantro sauce is to die for. We usually enjoy a margarita, out on the patio, while we wait for our order to come up. Berryhill is a lively spot in the neighborhood, usually the mark of a local favorite. Since we always...

Fish tacos ok

Had the fish tacos and they were just ok. Very dry and the fish was tough and dry like overcooked chicken breast meat. Chips were fantastic and so was the salsa! Mixed feelings about this restAurant

Try the Avocado Tacos

Ate here for lunch. The food was very good. I ordered the avocado tacos which had strips of tempura battered deep fried avocado. Delicious! Chips and salsa were complimentary. The freshly made salsa was flavorful, but mild. I'll definitely come back the next time I'm in Houston.

Great food

We ate here our first day in Houston and the food was very good. The taco's are stuffed full and the chicken has a great flavor. Chips/salsa are ok, black beans are very flavorful and the rice is avaerage. Reasonable prices for lunch and we will eat here again next time we are in Houston.

A highly acclaimed, Houston-based restaurant chain that features unique, baja-style cuisine. Our tantalizing south-of-the-border menu is much more than your standard tex-mex tacos and tamales. In fact, the unique, innovative offerings of our chefs give a new twist to this Seriously Fresh Mex! The famous recipe and the little tamale cart sat in a warehouse until 1993, when the first Berryhill...
