But no, no, apparently in some places this is not the case. The room was fine; I mean, a Motel 6 has more ambiance, but it did the job--bed, shower, small fridge and a microwave. Perfect for a work trip on a budget. But the continued struggle for any sort of internet connection, even to check email, was a killer....

As some of the other reviewers mentioned, this isn't the Hilton but it is a decent studio apartment near the beach. It's fully furnished, clean enough, and there's a small kitchenette. I had lived in Pacific Beach before and upon moving
back needed an affordable and convenient place to
stay while in 'transition' looking for housing rentals.
Yes, it is older and is not going to suit everyone.. .
The rate for a week was $250+tax/100 cash deposit.
(which was refunded). That's about $40/day which is
very reasonable.
Roomy, clean, friendly...

PERFECT north Pacific Beach location.. Close to all; the beach, Sea World, shopping, TONS of food, Zoo, etc.
EASY walk to local beaches along with some of the very BEST sunsets in So. CA... Nice and PROFESSIONAL STAFF, including an occasional visit from the owners .. I'll be back FOR SURE !
