Worthwhile Sandwiches

This was our first stop in California after leaving the airport as we went 8 hours with very little food. Our friends informed us of the size of the sandwiches prior to ordering so we all opted for smaller items. The sandwiches were slightly difficult to eat because so much was put on them, which isn't necessarily a bad thing....

Fresh bread! Great sandwich

We visited the Beach Hut Deli in West Sacramento and also Davis, CA over a 2 week period. Both restaurants provided yummy sandwiches on incredibly fresh bread. Super tasty and this place will certainly be on our "must eat" list when we return to the area.
On a side note, we happened to visit while the FIFA World Cup games...

After a harrowing experience at the Nevada City BHD (since closed) we were at Ikea's and I had a hankering for a pastrami sandwich so …. What a mistake! The girl behind the counter was rude and evidently threw the food together as when I returned to the car and opened the wrapping a lump of meat was piled onto...

This place is great! I've been here several times. The happy hour prices are great for the beer. The service is fun and casual. They may not wait on you like you are in a fine dining restaurant,???
