- Guy said "Hey sir, I can help you out over here." Then i guess the manager said "No, finish helping them." So i'm standing in fucking like for the last 10 minutes before the close, Then one of the employes say "Sorry sir we are closed now, Could you come back tmrw." This is freaking ridiculouse !

In ShortOnly in Melvin Johnson's family-friendly, sports-themed restaurant could blue bucket seats from Dodgers stadium sit peacefully below a brick wall adorned with Padres jerseys and pennants. Huge flat-sceen TV's hung end-end on the back wall broadcast sports-only programming above a counter lined with baseball bats, and the menu of sporty snacks like the "Philly Pitcher" cheesesteak, "Shortstop Shrimp" and spicy chicken wings are more finger-lickin' than figure-friendly.

If one's thinking about bringing a date here, they'd better think again. This is because Batter Up serves massive sandwiches, entree-sized salads and all other manner of casual fare given a little bit of a boost. For one looking to escape table manners for a while, this is the place to be. Finger licking is obviously to be expected.
