Editorial reviews from the web (1)

Who says you have to be a reptile to bask? The warm-blooded soak up rays of comfort at this quarter of the North Carolina Music Factory. Executive chef Chuck Herrick (a grad in culinary arts at Charlotte's own Johnson & Wales University) puts a creative spin on modern American. Menu takes pride in its seasonal menu based on influx of local produce. The sweet burger with ground chuck, nutmeg,...

Closed for Sunday brunch

I had the most bizarre experience today at brunch. Bask's website says they open at 10:00 am on Sundays. Open Table starts accepting reservations at 10:00 am on Sundays. We made a reservation for 10:15 a.m., and when we showed up, there were only two cars in the back parking lot, and the main(?) door was locked. Odd. We tried...

Great Food & Atmosphere

The food was really good.. we got a hummus plate with pita points, I also ordered tomato bisque which was awesome and my boyfriend ordered a fish entree which was really great. The cocktails were good as well. Overall, the atmosphere is super cool and the food/drinks great, so we loved it!

Great find

We ordered several different dishes and shared them - everything was unique, fresh and excellent. They have small, medium and large plates which was nice. Atmosphere was nice and comfortable (too cold to use the large outside patio). It's not real big inside but no issue getting a table. Our kids loved it but no kids menu.

The food is good, nice diverse menu and good ambiance

We visited this restaurant prior to attending a concert at the Fillmore based on reviews on Tripadvisor and the food was indeed pretty good. I thought that the service could be better due to what appeared to be a shortage of staff. I ate the onion soup, small salad and vegetable pita and mixed vegetable side. My wife had the...
