This cozy, candlelit restaurant in the Golden Triangle's Renaissance Towne Center boasts specialties like veal scallops with pesto, and goat-cheese-and-pear-stuffed ravioli. The mixed-greens salad with shrimp and avocado nicely kicks off a meal that may go on simply to a mushroom and ham pizza, homemade gnocchi, chicken Marsala, or grilled salmon. Ask for a banquette table and enjoy the suave,...

Have been meaning to try this place for a while since it is well-reviewed and located in a strip mall with SEVERAL other very good eateries (Renaissance Plaza). Because of the competition for your business, I figured it had to be good to survive. I was wrong. Although the service, ambiance, house white and dessert (tiramisou) were excellent, the food...
My wife and I recently dined at Barolo Ristorante Italiano and are extremely pleased with the experience. We’ve eaten at hundreds of restaurants (some of them Michelin rated) from Venice, Italy, to Ragusa, Sicily, over the past few years and can confidently say that the dinners we had at Barolo were comparable to some of the best we’ve had in...

Real Italian food. So tasty and fresh! Friendly staff. Awesone location and easy access, close to interstates 805 and 5. I recommend the Lasagna... Yummy!!!
This is a fantastic, relatively unknown, undervalued restaurant tucked away in a shopping center in north San Diego. What a treasure. Everything is good, but the pear ravioli is to die for.

This cozy, candlelighted restaurant in the Golden Triangle's Renaissance Towne Center uses its namesake to sauce the house specialty, Gorgonzola-topped beef filet in a Barolo reduction. This filling dish joins other specialties like veal scallops with pesto and goat cheese, and polenta-crusted salmon in horseradish sauce. The salad of chopped tomato and red onion with blue cheese dressing...
