Bakerman Bakery

I went to Slake Cafe because it was recommended by some of my friends. The staff was nice and the food was good. I got a sandwich that had chicken, avocado and bacon. The bacon really made the sandwich, because it was infused with maybe cinnamon? I am not sure exactly which spice it was, but it was really good!

I've stopped at Slake multiple times on my walk into work for breakfast and I'm always happy. The breakfast tacos are delicious and the coffee is good too. They were under construction when I stopped in, but i've heard that they've completed their dining section and it looks great. I will definitely be back. The only thing keeping me back from a 5 are the prices. they are a tad bit expensive.

Slake has a great lunch menu in downtown. They offer a great selection of baked goods and a daily food special. I had a brisket sandwich and it was delicious. They just opened more space with a full bar. It has much more available seating. Highly recommended.
