The bartender acted so annoyed to be taking drink orders. The owner actually told me I should be nice to his rude bartender. Doesn't seem like much has changed at Bacchus House. Strange place.

This place is all right. It has kind of a small dance floor, bartenders are nice enough, but there is a cover. Just not that memorable.

Who would have thought opening a mainstream gay bar in North Park would prove fruitful? But for anyone looking for something outside the scene (those blocks on University between Park and Third Avenue), Bacchus House is a welcome escape.

One of their slogans is "Come Play with the Gods". A house of good times and fun, if you are looking for a spot to boogie to the DJ or sip a cocktail then you have arrived.
