Completed half of the program, and went for over a year. Now that I am 28000 dollars in debt and without any degree, I can safely say, DONT DO IT. 2006 is when I started, and what they didn't inform me is that only 4 people will graduate out of 20+! I am not by any means stupid, and there is absolutely no leway for personal issues. FAA doesn't allow it.
I recommend attending a school with a more productive track record like Embry riddle or somebody like that aim is a diploma mill whether it's Dallas or Las vegas they only care about pushing students through and collecting their money. Las vegas campus didn't fall within part 147 but was allowed to continue operating anyways we didn't even do half of the practical exercises required by the faa....
Not a good school, school to go to, the staff there in AIM houston is so unprofessional, MIAT IS BETTER. They actually care for ones education and not money, they have great equipment to work on there, they have amazing teachers too. I would definitely recommend MIAT, if your looking for a great education and school. Think quality, not quantity!
The staff is lazy! The equipment was horrible! The syllabus is bull, And the price is outrageous!! DO NOT GO!!! It is horrible. Oh and the students that mostly attend there are not people you want EVER EVER touching a plane....the student career service is a joke, mainly because employers know what kind of "mechanics" come out of AIM ATL!
