Working long hours on my feet and overall stress has created plenty of painful knots in my upper and lower back. I was fortunate enough to stumble upon Asclepius for a soothing full body massage. At $48/hr, it is an amazing value for a professional, calming experience.

I discovered Asclepius upon recommendation of friends who had been seeing Dr. Tsui for some time and live in the neighborhood. I value their advice, so going in to the office I already knew that I was in good hands, and have been pleased for so many reasons. Not just because Dr. Tsui healed me of a gyn issue that I had discovered a few months ago, but because I feel that she is a true holistic health practitioner, who injects kindness and a sense of warmth into her practice. I've only been to more expensive 'spas' in Manhattan for massages. I've had swedish massages, hot stone, and deep tissue. Not only were they over $100 for 50-60 minutes, they were not the most satisfying. I was finally interested in trying one of the many Chinese massage & reflexology places that's popped up all over Chinatown and Lower Manhattan, but was worried about safety & cleanliness.

Fortunately, I found Asclepius. I was there on Saturday morning for a massage: called when they opened and they gave me an appt 40 mins later. The prices are comparable to those scarier-looking...

I went at first because I had not had my menses in 8 months and no gynecologyst could find a reason why...so after five sessions in Asclepius, I did!!! The way they treat you there is more than excellent! Great humane and friendly vibes all the time!!! Extremely clean and a tranquil atmosphere...I would definitely recomend it to anyone and everyone!
