Medical care was fine, but they grossly overcharge for the services provided. I went to the emergency room with a small cut on my face, because I thought I might need stitches on a Sunday morning. After a 4 hour wait, I got a cotton swab and band-aid, a tetanus shot, and bill for over $1100. …

I went to Alta Bates ER when I was having sudden onset abdominal pain. I was triaged an hour after arrival and was taken to a room while we waited for test results. Within three hours of arrival, my CT scan and ultrasounds were complete. I had pain meds within three hours as well.The staff was …
