Editorial reviews from the web (3)

Although many bars have lately attempted to go the gastropub route, The Albert serves great beer and bar food done really well for the surrounding Inman Park neighborhood.

Grizzled bar flies used to guzzle here when it was the Austin Avenue Buffet. Today, trendy Inman Parkers gather for libations and a menu with some organic items. ’Tenders serve drinks in front of an aged brick wall. Other decor honors famous Alberts from Gore to Einstein. Coat the stomach with a turkey burger or affordable organic dog. Wonder what those old pro drinkers would’ve thought of a...

On sleepy Austin Avenue, the Albert is the perfect neighborhood bar hidden in Inman Park.

In Short
The best bars are dark bars and the Albert, a sort of squeaky-clean dive is no exception. The dark, Brooklyn-styled hallway that houses the skinny bar welcomes bar-goers, while...

Great People, Great Food, Great Cocktails, Great Staff. But there is more Greatness! Smoked Wings quite possibly the State of Georgia's BEST. Really. Homemade dressings, healthy salads, and healthy Jager shots if required. Plus, Santa fuels up at The Albert every year before flying around the globe to deliver gifts to good boys and girls.

Food, service, atmosphere. All are on point. Patrons reflect the vibe put out by staff. I may be bias, but this is one of my favorite spots Atlanta has to offer.

Although many bars have lately attempted to go the gastropub route, The Albert serves great beer and bar food done really well for the surrounding Inman Park neighborhood.

The Extras

Wednesday is Trivia night, and Thursday is Texas Hold Em' night. Both can make the little bar quite congested if you are not there to play.

Parking

Parking across the street is strictly reserved for local residents only. But there is a full parking lot behind the bar.

Know Before You Go

The bathrooms read AL's and GALS's, which can get confusing after a few drinks in a dark place. ALs--guys, GALS--you know.
