Sort of down below in Golden Gate Park, the AIDS grove is a special place filled with beauty as well as sadness, quietude backed up by activism.
Simply beautiful way to acknowledge the impact of AIDs on the San Francisco community. One thought is to re-do the maps --- the dimensions are seriously out of whack! It's very small, easily walkable, and there's a wheelchair ramp as well.
What a lovely section of the park! We were very surprised to hear that it is taken care of by volunteers! So peaceful and quite it was a wonderful little spot to stop and enjoy during our day!
