I had two surgeons for my injury. Dr. Tontz listen to what I was saying and looked at my MRI. He said with a certain amount of confidence, he could relieve a lot of my symptoms. He also sent me for a second opinion, to put me at ease about the decision I was going to make.I feel it was the best for my injury. No more numbness and chronic pain any more .Thanks again. P.S. Dr Tontz performed a three vertebra ACDF cervical fusion 6 moths ago. He has privileges at several hospitals and was able to come to Hillcrest Scripps Mercy to perform the surgery. Convenient for me and I have had three good experiences at this hospital in the past year. The surgery was successful and the occasional discomfort in my neck (from other discs not fused) is remedied by tylenol. I...

Last November I suffered multiple lumbar spine fractures caused by severe osteoporosis. Being referred to Dr. Tontz was the best thing that could have happened to me.
