Established in 1965, Adelante High School was comprised of only 8 students and 1 instructor and occupied a single room of the Roseville City District's Atlantic Street School. The following year, Adelante moved to the Placer County Fairgrounds where the program grew steadily as the demand for alternative education grew. I wanted to let everyone know that Woody Rupp died this past Monday at home. Najla Dornhofer confirmed with Eleanor a few days ago. I know he touched many lives. During my first years at Success (1997-1999) he would come over to mentor me as a new teacher.
