I love calling in during business hours and speaking to someone who actually knows me by name and not by a #.... truly I don't know what took me so long to switch to a family owned security business since I love all other family owned businesses in town..... did I mention they SAVED me money.....
Very soon after moving into our town home in 1999 our back door was kicked in and we were robbed. I was very nervous about the house after that so called Actio Alarms for an alarm system to give me a bit of piece of mind. They came out the very next day and talked to me about my concerns and budget. They then offered ideas for how they could help. It was a great experience. I maintained service for them for several years until we sold the home. They were always polite and professional.
I have moved into a new home now and plan to call them to have an alarm installed in this house as...
My wife and I setup an installation with Actio and they dropped the appointment and did not show up on the scheduled day. Upon calling them, the representative (Ken Motter) was not very apologetic and unwilling to make the situation right for us. He was great the first time we met him, but he barely even attempted to make up for the dropped installation. I strongly advice against using this company, or specifically this individual within the company -- for what it's worth, the woman who answers the phones did not share his attitude.
