well...ace spends a great deal of time claiming they are the "speciality" hardware store that offer personal service and knowledgeable staff...that may be so, but not here...yes, they have a fair amount of speciality stuff but regular stuff is dismal...i have been there three times looking for something and ended up at home depot where i found it..and it is stuff they shud have had...copper...
At 3:15 - 3:30 had called and checked on threaded pipes & pipe clamps. Talked to a person named Ian. Was helpful (the only reason they got 1 star). When I showed up I told the cashier who I had spoken with and what I had wanted. The skinny Brunette with very short hair told me he had left. This associate also stated, "Go back to a certain aisle and an associate will be right with you." ...
This is the hardware store to go to for those little odds and ends you might need. It's much more convenient than the near by Home Depot that has a horrible parking situation. The employees are always friendly and willing to answer my questions.
Wonderful service. Every employee smiled at me and the store was cool with the plants at the front at one time. My favorite nuts and bolts place.
On 26 April 2009 I went to Ace with flyer in hand for their 3 day sale. Both myself and a friend wanted to buy a wheel barrow each for our spring yard work. On the front page of the flyer it clearly shows a green wheel barrow and next to it it shows the caption buy any garden tool under $30.00 get the second one half price.
