They ripped me off by charging $350 to apply a watered-down slurry to mortar cracks and simply sweeping out the fireplace. They left a Shop-Vac full of creosote chunks in the flue and left it too dangerous to use.

Pretty simple project, so not much to say. They arrived (50 minutes late), cleaned the chimney, swept out the firebox, and left.
