My plane was delayed a few hours and they closed. I called them and a man told me to rent from Hertz for a night, not very accomodating! The car didnt have working headlights and I was in LA that night, I had to use highbeams all the way around CA. They charged me for a full days rental for being a few hours late returning. No apology for the f*#ked up car and the repairs it needed. Save yourself the hastle, call Hertz instead, I should have listened in the first place!

I cannot thank enough A Plus Car Rental for helping me when my Mercedes broke down a couple of weeks ago, on a Saturday afternoon. The water pump broke and the car overheated. So I called several Mercedes Benz dealer and they were all closed for the day. I had purchased groceries, and had everythng I needed to spend a week in Palm Springs. I was lucky that my car broke down close to a mechanic, who referred to me to this place. I called and within 15 minutes there was a guy there to pick us up to bring us to their location in Encinitas. I got a very low quote for a week. This meant I could continue with my vacation plans in PS, while my car was being repaired by a reliable mechanic. When I got back and returned the car, an representative took us back to the mechanic with no extra charge, and I was also happy because my mechanic bill was a reasonable one. All in all I was very satisfied with their friendly service. These are people they don't mind going the extra mile. They were my true Guardian Angels that day!
yess they did something similar to me.I returned the car after few days they charged all deposit.. they sad there were no demage but they re talking about a demage and they didn't explain anything. Everyday Im trying to reach them but responsible person doesnt show up never.. I dont recommend you, never. Dont rent a car from this place.
2 months ago I rented a car from A Plus Truck & Car Rentals. The car was returned and no mention of damage noted. I just received a bill for over $1,000 stating I had damaged the roof. After several calls to A Plus Truck & Car Rentals
it was stated by A Plus Truck & Car Rentals the previous renter had rented the vehicle had placed items on the roof. I refused payment, A Plus went direct to my insurance company and filed a claim against my policy!

This car rental committed fraud when they stopped payment on a check given to me. I have a legal licensed tow company. We were called by US Customs to do a Government impound on one of their vehicles which was seized at the Port of entry.
