A Better Type transribed 30 hours of my interviews for me and made my doctoral dissertation process much easier. Digital transcription is the way to go and Marcy Thorne taught me the ins and outs of it. I could even send her my interviews while in my pajamas! Marcy at A Better Type in San Diego has been where my associates and I have gone for transcription for 12 years. She does mostly digital but will also do tapes.
