Wine selection very good and knowledgeable staff. The ox tails we ordered were under done but the Halibut was perfect. Pretty spot and friendly staff.

I had heard great things from a coworker who knew the owner. We were a bit surprised when we arrived on valentines day and there was a set menu, for what we got it really wasn't worth the price. We were looking forward to the regular menu and being able to choose from a wide variety of options.

We were given a shared table. We should have been warned at the time of reservation that the table would be shared - we would have gone elsewhere.

My wife and I really wanted our meals to be great. Unfortunately, they were not. My lamb chops were literally 1/2 fat, and my wife's risotto was better, but not too plentiful. The service was outstanding though -- the server and waitstaff were very attentive, but not overly so. The restaurant is nice and we both thought it could have easily been placed in Europe.

The wine list is all Italian, save for one California label, and there is a modest selection of high-end spirits and classic cocktails.

All of the artisanal olive oil, honey, sea salt, olive, cheese and balsamic vinegar that decorate the shelves are for sale.

The bar is lovely for solo diners, but for large parties, there is a cozy, 30-seat lower floor with tables for 8, 10 and 12. For outdoor lunches, there are plenty of sunny seats on the plaza.
