For truly authentic Southwestern and Mexican flavors, visit The Mission. Traditional recipes and ingredients--yes, they use lard--produce dishes not often tasted as far north as New York. Try the "authentic beans," and if you are brave, ask that they be topped with the "lethal sauce." Fajitas, burritos and crispy salads round out the menu.
