The place was jam packed when we drove up. We went in without a reservation and got on the list. The guy said 20 minutes or so. We got margueritas and 5 minutes later we were seated. The drinks were good and we had a draft beer with the meal.

This is a well loved local place and planning your timing can certainly ensure you have the best experience. It gets very busy on weekends so, if you have a choice, go early or during the week. We stopped tonight on a rainy cool night and the place was still packed. We still got seated right away, the service was perfect, and the food was FANTASTIC!!! Sitting on the patio it got a little chilly and our waiter brought out warm blankets. What a wonderful idea!
We've been here 5-6 times in the last 2 years.
It remains a favorite and we always bring friends that are visiting the area.
The salsa is wonderful! All the tacos are amazing. You can't go wrong with anything on...

TacoLu is a lively Mexican cantina with mosaic murals and Mexican folk art adorning the walls. Be it the corn tortillas, the salsa or the refried beans, everything on the menu is made-from-scratch and nothing comes out of a can.
