We have visited the vet twice in the past week. The first visit with a bill of over 250. The vet was unable to view my dog's paw pad that was inflamed or with a cyst of somesort. She put him under for an xray. That was a whole day ordeal. Nothing broken or fractured. Antibiotics were given in a very used contaniner with no label. I have no idea what pills they really are except from the bill. A revist six days later, and the vet "popped" a scab that was forming and had to use styptic to stop the bleeding. but, she still wanted to remove whatever it is as it could possibly be a cyst, or possibly be an infection or possibly could be a fungal infection. Another huge charge for that visit as we elected to keep on the antibiotics. She advised that we should have styptic at home in case our dogs paw bled again. I asked her for some but she held up a small vial and said thats all they had and couldnt spare any.! We have spent close to 300 in a week and still do not know what this actually is. All they want to do is cut it out, and if its an infection so be it. I am just furious and quite upset. Not so much by the fact that she is not sure what it is, but with all that money, she couldn't spare some syptic. Let alone a hospital not having any? We are getting a definite second opinion.
I have complete confidence in the hospital and the staff.

This is the only place I will take my animals. They are the absolute best! Super nice, and super quick to get you back to love on your furbaby. :)
When my Dublin had a major reaction to ant bites, the crew at Shoreline were very informative and helpful in getting her back to good health. They took the time to tell me what happened, what caused it, and how to treat and prevent future issues. I would be more than happy to refer others and take my furkids there again.
What can I say about this place? Everyone is so passonate about making sure your pet is taken well care of. They are like a second family for my kitties! Definitely would recommend them!!
