I brought my 8 week old pup in for his first check up here, we will continue to use this vet after a horrible experience elsewhere. They encourage you to bring your own stool sample, which saves me and my pup a lot of stress. They are FULL of encouraging words and educate me so much. Even my vet tech was wonderful! Melissa Eslick spends a good 5 minutes with my shy pup before she does any examining so that he gets comfortable with her. They are so thorough. LOVE THEM and I recommend them to EVERYONE I know!
Pros
+ Good location, extremely friendly, full of information
My dog had been a patient at ALAC for almost 5 years. I have never had a problem with any of the vets or staff. Unfortunately, last August, it was determined that our pet was too ill, and needed to be put down. The entire staff at ALAC was absolutely wonderful and caring during this difficult time. We have now just gotten another animal and did not hesitate to call ALAC to set up her initial appointment. I wouldn't take my pets anywhere else.
Pros
+ Caring staff, convenient hours
Cons
- Not their fault, but entry road currently under construction - kinda difficult to get to
Augustine Animal Clinic is the most caring and devoted clinic that I have ever used. I have been using this clinic for over 10 years and they have always gone the extra step for my pets. If you have a sick or injured pet the staff always goes above and beyond to help the animal. The entire staff at Loretto Animal clinic is outstanding and they are always willing to answer any questions that pet owners have.
We brought our 4 month old puppy in for a check up after adopting him from the Humane Society. We brought a fresh stool sample for worm testing, ""results"" were negative. The very next day, he elimanted what looked like spaghetti (worms), I saved the sample and brought it to the vet, they told me it was mucas. What??? I never heard of that, but I TRUSTED their professional opinon. Wrong!!! Since, then he has been elimanting more and more worms, how do I know they are worms and not ""mucas"", they move! I will never bring him back nor would I reccommend that anyone else trust this...
