Located at the threshold of "bawdy, gaudy Bourbon Street" in the French Quarter is this "relaxed", "unpretentious" seafood house offering Ralph Brennan's signature fare at a relative "bargain", including double-chocolate bread pudding worthy of "a death-row meal"; though the "touristy" spot "can be a little noisy", the busy waiters "never get rattled", resulting in a "swimmingly great time."

It’s our first time in the city and having dinner at a restaurant. The food we ordered wasn’t very remarkable. The shrimp in shrimp grits was much better and tasted fresher than that in creole shrimp, as more than a couple of the latter was soft and mushy. All of the food was excellent. The atmosphere was great and service was top notch. Josh did a great job serving us and the kids meals came with soft serve ice cream which they were SO excited about
