Help us make it rightPurrfect Pets is a nonprofit cat rescue and adoption agency.
This shelter/cat adoption agency is the most expensive in town with cats at $85 and kittens at $130. They are not micro-chipped. The owner with not allow you to adopt a cat if you intend to de-claw it or let it outside but she will not tell you that up front. She is the only one who can approve the adoption but is not there everyday from open to close. She has no staff, very few volunteers and has $50,000 of credit card debt. She will tell you if the cat does not work out she will take the cat back but with that kind of credit card debt, there is not telling how long she will be around. She does no fundraising and does not know how to delegate. She has not had a working web site for almost a year! You can rarely take a cat home the same day you come in. She knows cats, but that is about it. If you are looking for a great cat for the best price, keep looking.
My Dad (who is in his 70's) and my kids and I went cat shopping to pick out a cat for my Dad. We decided to come to Purrfect Pets and see the cats and ask questions to staff. My Mom just had a...
The question you were ask weather you rent or own is because if you rent, does the owner of the house allow pets? You might want to look at questions and concerns are for the cats benefit and yours. Please open up and get educated. Be glad Elaine doesn't want the cats going to a home that might not be a loving home for life.
We adopted our male cat back in June of 2012. He was just a little under 3 mo. old when we got him. We were told up front we were not to declaw the cat and we were also told we had to be "approved" which we were in a matter of minutes. We had to wait a week to bring our cat home as he was getting his shots and being neutered. When the time comes again, I will be getting another cat and...
Very disapointed, wouldnt recomend this place to anyone who truely loves cats!
I would have to disagree with your statements. Elaine is a very nice and caring lady that has been nothing but help for me since the first AND second time I decided to adopt from Purrfect Pets. Declawing a cat isn't okay in my opinion either. They're just looking out for their cats and making sure if needed, they have claws to protect themselves. It's unnatural to declaw cats- that's why I...
