Eating at Paragon on State street is an absolutely delicious dining experience. I tried their sushi as well as their lobster, and both were phenomenal! Besides just great food, this restaurant offers a wonderful atmosphere, awesome place for a date night! The service was wonderful as well. Friendly, and very helpful. You definitely don't want to miss the chance to eat at Paragon!

If you want to patronize a business that took a loan out from the city of Rockford, but has yet to pay back a dime, go for it. I will not however. It disgusts me that the owner obviously does well, but chooses not to pay back the taxpayers of the city. Instead go to Habaneros in Rockford, a great Mexican restaurant who honored and paid back their loan from the city.

I found Paragon highly overpriced for a place like Rockford, and really not offering anything special. I still wonder how can a dish of pasta with a few scattered mushrooms in it and a white cheesy sauce be $21, compared to a meat dish at the same price. The salad that came with it was completely unatractive. My friends were puzzled by the size of the serving of "string fries" that came with...
