This restaurant in the Carew Tower's Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza maintains the elegant, art deco design of the hotel. Look up to see the murals on the 30-foot ceilings. Many of the beautifully presented dishes feature Ohio's bounty, for example, the Lake Erie walleye with a lobster-and-carrot fricassee. Went to Orchids for my 70th birthday. They recognized it in fine fashion. The ambiance, service, and of course the food were all in keeping with a well reviewed five star.
This review is not technically for the beautiful Orchids at Palm Court but for The Bar at Palm Court which shares the same setting—the art deco designs of the Hilton Cincinnati Netherlands Plaza lobby—although the menu differs.
Nonetheless, it was a fabulous place to relax...
It's not cheap but sure worth every penny. My birthday dinner on a week night and the whole evening was delightful from service to food quality and presentation. Highly recommend for whatever special event your celebrating.
