Great little Irish Pub in a building that looks like a Mexican restaurant

When our cab pulled up to Marfield's I thought the driver was mistaken... "Esplanade" is painted in big letters on the side of the building but, sure enough the sign over the door says Marfield's. I will confirm what all the other reviews say... it's not very big and that's one of the things that make it really cool!

Small place with good food

I liked the food and beer. It's a very small place, but it has an Irish feel to it and is quite comfortable. Bangers and Mash is pretty good and the fish tacos are excellent.

Very small, locally operated pub that's evidently been around in some form or another for many years. The copper top tables, classic bar, and yellow walls reminded me of the little village pubs in the west of Ireland near the coast. We were pleasantly surprised by the food and they have a nice rotating draft beer selection and healthy choice...
