1859 Building, Originally Lodge hall Upstairs, Deli since 1920's, open for Lunch at 11am, live music Tues-Sat. Festivals Mardi Gra, St.Patricks, New Years,ect.
Water was good. Menu was useful to pass the time. Waited 20 minutes for server to come back & take my order. She never did so I left. Saw her walk back & forth a few times & actually walk by. Never asked if she could take my order or if I was waiting for other people to show up.
Don't come here unless your have time to hang out. The food takes a while to get served. That being said, the sandwich was awesome. Unique ambiance.

Stopped here on our way through to Kansas. Wonderful food, great, friendly, service by Alissa even though she had a now show for work that day. The I had the half sandwich and chili--the chili was great, sandwich very good. Wife loved her tuna sandwich. Alissa talked us into the cheesecake, one if a kind-ish, but very, very good. Interior...
