Yes there is some sauce that MAY be really hot so taste it with a toothpick or bean sprout first. Noodle soup comes in a large lovely plastic bowl you return when finished. Great place to experience Vietnamese food.

Always one of my favorites at North Market.
Had the Beef Pho and it was pretty good. It didn't seem as good as in the past and seemed to have fewer vegetables. Still, pretty good.

Don't go to the one on Bethel Road

The Lac Viet in North Market is good. Do not go to the one on Bethel Road. The taste is way off. I asked for some nuc mam to go with my goi cun and the server did not know what that was. Then she handed me a bottle of fish sauce.
