The service at Jim Burke gives a new definition to bad. My son's car broke down and would not start on Monday. Called prior to towing to see if they would be able to look at it that day. Was told yes. Called around closing time and they did not get to it. Stopped by on Tuesday late afternoon. Was told that they had several cars that had been in line for service and they would look at car as soon as they could. Wed they finally evaluated the car. Told the part it needed was on back order and would take two weeks to come in. Following Wed stopped by to check the progress of the back order. Was told the part was on UPS delivery truck for delivery that day. Car would be repaired and ready for pick up the next day. Called Thursday at noon to verify the car would be ready. 5:30pm stopped to pick up car and was again (very Rudely!) told the car was not ready. The phrase was "I didn't call you and tell you it was ready" Was given the lame excuse (that I have heard before from the service dept) that 3 guys went home early. My son has now gone 2 weeks without work. Every time I stop by their attitude gets worse. They are in the service field. I am the customer. It would behoove them to remember this. I will never go back!!! I will drive twice the distance for twice the service. How can you give this service department a 5 star rating?
The cars themselves are a pleasure to own and drive Cons: Avoid this service center like the plague- failed commitments after 3 strikes. Strike 1: May 07 Had car in for 30k mile servicing. After 2 days, received car back with flat tire at 5PM on Friday- advised simply needed air. While driving home had to reinflate tire 3 times. Dealership ended up having to replace tire- they did honor...
