Great room layout and size. Had a great breakfast. There is a lot of potential for this hotel. We would consider staying again if we could get it for the discounted rate we had this time. However, the Hotel does need updating/cleaning. Not the cleanest: shower needed a really good cleaning, there was lots of dust/dirt in corners, mold in areas of doorways & bathrooms, ceiling damage in...

We had been traveling all day from Baltimore Maryland to LA, CA. Imagine my surprise to have booked a suite at your hotel that was reasonably luxurious and relaxing. Staying there made the trip cross country worthwhile and enabled us to begin our cruise rested and happy.

We stayed here while my daughter was at a softball tournament. It was not far to Drew Park or Victoria Park, just a few minutes. The Hawthorne has a hot buffet breakfast with eggs and sausage, French toast and waffles, plus fruit and cereal. The spacious rooms were great, king bed for us and a pull out couch gave us our own areas and our own TVs. We were lacking a comforter but Housekeeping...

The Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Jacksonville hotel is just south of Jacksonville in the Baymeadows area, right off I-95. The St. John's River and Atlantic Ocean are a short drive away. If you are here on business, we are close to several corporate headquarters including Citibank, Bank of America, Convergys, State Farm, and GE Aviation.
