The Carrot Dog has gotten better as well as the homemade ice cream which is used to make the Scribes Cafe coffee al a mode. My date and I had heard about this cafe and when we visited Jacksonville last week we rode a trolley from the downtown area to 5 Points in historic Riverside and there at 820 Lomas Street was this small cozy cafe named Scribes Cafe. We felt like we had gone to Europe when we enterd and the person behind the counter, Tabitha Quattlebaum, was very pleasant and well spoken. She presented us with a wonderful looking and quite delicious carrot dog dish which I definitly...
