I've had my hair cut by Charlene, the owner of Halo Designs for many years. Though I live in Portland Oregon and don't drive, it is more than worth my while to find my way to Vancouver to see her. (In fact, for quite awhile I was spending $40 for cab fare each way to reach her.) I have very difficult hair to cut and she cuts it so precisely that she once won first prize in a national contest...
